Concur w/ Mr. T.

Fredendall was in over his head in mobile, mechanized warfare. He talked tough and impressed some with his belligerence. Marshall and Eisenhower knew talent and Fredendall was rotated to the US where he excelled in his forte’: the conduct and admiration of training.

Government the world over has grown dramatically over the last few decades and they still cannot fix homelessness.

The UK government has nearly half a million civil servants who are basically office workers.

Time to cull them.

Fredendall didn’t like to leave his command post and often screamed at his messengers when they were simply reporting the situation as ordered by their line commanders.

Patton was a complete opposite and should have been in actual overall command instead of back benching in Morocco. But we know now the rest is history.
